Underfloor cooling

LK’s underfloor heating systems can be used for both heating and cooling. The addition of underfloor cooling to an LK underfloor heating system helps ensure an optimal indoor climate. When heating is required, the heating system operates as normal, but during the warmer months of the year, underfloor cooling can be connected to the same system, thereby reducing excess heat caused by sunlight, for example. The system can utilise energy derived from ground and water source heat pumps​
or cooling energy obtained from district cooling. Utilising the so-called free cooling provided by a ground source heat pump also makes underfloor cooling systems very cost-effective.​
