Push fitting intended for LK PE-X Universal Pipe. Delivered incl. insert.
LK PushFit fittings are type-approved for all LK Universal PE-X and PAL pipes dim. 16-25.
LK PushFit fittings are only suitable for use with LK PE-X Universal and LK PAL Universal pipe.
NOTE! In order to install PushFit fittings with LK PAL Universal pipes, you must have the new version of the PushFit fitting launched in 2020, which is marked with the designation AX on both the product and product label. Read more in the product data sheet for PushFit.
LK PushFit products are primarily intended for heating, water, and cooling systems and must not be used for gas distribution systems. All LK PushFit parts that come into contact with water are manufactured from dezincification-resistant brass.
The designation AX means that the fitting is suitable for both LK Universal PE-X and PAL pipes.
LK PushFit fittings are supplied with nickel-plated housings in dim. 16-25.
For assembly with PushFit refer to the document Assembly Instructions for LK PushFit, which also describes tightness testing.
NOTE! Check that the insert is assembled in the fitting. Always mark the insertion depth on the pipe for each dimension. The insertion depth should be 20 mm on a 16 mm pipe and 23 mm on 20 and 25 mm pipes. In the case of both LK PE-X and PAL Universal pipes, the pipes must be deburred internally to prevent damage to or displacement of the O-rings in the coupling. Once the PushFit fitting is installed, check that the insertion depth mark is barely visible then pull the pipe in to ensure the connection is properly fastened.
In the event that disassembly is required, always use the LK Disassembly Tool or the LK SmartTool. If the same PE-X or PAL pipe is to be reinstalled, always check the end of the pipe to ensure that the fitting’s grip ring has not damaged the pipe. In the event that the pipe is damaged, it should be cut to at least the marked insertion depth.
LK recommends continuous pipe-in-pipe systems between visible couplings or, alternatively, that coupling points are located in cabinets with leakage indication. Joint-free installations are always the safest option.
